Rinse the dishes and load the dishwasher. Do a quick wipe down of key spots. No deep scrubbing here, just quick resets. Remember, efficiency is the key to this routine.

Minute 5-10: Quick Pick-Up Round

Pick up any random cups or bottles. Throw blankets back on the couch, put any toys back in the toy basket, and straighten throw pillows. I also include my kids in this, reminding them to reset their spaces too.

Set out the kids’ water bottles and prep the lunchboxes. I don’t assemble the full lunch, but I do prep everything I can – put chips in a ziploc or cut up any fruit or veggies and put in a container in the fridge. And hey, if you CAN prep the full lunch, big win! Set out clothes for the next day – yours and the kids. Make sure bookbags are ready by the door.
